Lavender Lemonade


A perfectly sweet-sour cool drink for summertime. This lavender lemonade recipe is made with fresh lavender sprigs and fresh-squeezed lemon juice.


Units Scale

1 cup sugar

about 6 sprigs fresh lavender

about 610 lemons (2 cups of fresh lemon juice)


  1. Over high heat, bring 1 1/2 cups water to a boil with the lavender sprigs and sugar to create a simple syrup. Steep for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Squeeze the lemons and combine the lemon juice with 6 cups cold water.
  3. Combine the lavender syrup with the watery lemon juice. Be sure to strain the lavender syrup well.
  4. Store in the refrigerator. Serve cold over ice with fresh lavender for garnish.
